Thank you for checking out our website. Hopefully, if you spend enough time going through the various pages of our site you'll get an idea of what TimberRidge is all about.

But the only sure way to see for yourself is to
come to one of our Sunday Celebrations.
They start each week at 9:30 and 11:00 am.

Four personal promises from me to you:

When you visit...

The atmosphere at TimberRidge is not too 'churchy', but it's also not too casual. It has a touch of elegance as well as a touch of whimsy. Our decor is contemporary, yet warm and inviting. You'll feel like you've just entered a hip new coffee shop, but they'll be no doubt that God is the main attraction. People arrive in all levels of dress, from shirts and ties to t-shirts and shorts. No one should ever feel out of place. Everyone is at home at TRCC.

You will be welcomed:

From the moment you approach the building for the very first time, you will see the warm and friendly faces of our greeters and a handful of other 'home folk' who will extend a handshake or a hug. They will show you around the place, point the way to the free doughnuts and coffee, help you find the KidFactoryfor your little ones, and even escort you into our beautiful sanctuary, where you will be warmly greeted by the people inside. Once the service starts, we will tell you how glad we are to have you as our guests, but we will never single you out or make you stand up and introduce yourselves. You can come and take in the TimberRidge experience with no fear of embarrassment. So relax!

You will be blessed:

We've had many people tell us - even those who were not yet believers - that they could just sense something different the moment they walked into our building. Let me assure you it has nothing to do with the building. Our facilities are always bathed in prayer and there is a special reverence for God whenever we gather there. God said that wherever two or three are gathered in His name, that He will be there in their midst. That's why you will be blessed. We worship an amazingly powerful and awesome God and so even if we have a really bad day or if I happen to preach an awful sermon that day, God will still bless everyone who's there. He's the reason you will be blessed - and He never fails!

You will be spiritually fed:

From the very first note of music that is played to the the 'Amen' at the end of the service, you will be confronted with the life-changing word of God. Our music is primarily contemporary Christian worship songs filled with powerful, passionate words that will help you connect with God in a personal way, based on the way God instructs us to connect with Him in the Bible. But we also play a lot of the old hymns with a fresh new sound to include the rich, theological lyrics that come straight from the pages of Scripture. The sermons are always heavy in Scriptural content but we consistently share the life-changing principles that will make them relevant to your life right now. It's never about simply obtaining more Bible knowledge... it's about finding out from God Himself how He wants us to live, and then becoming doers of the word and not hearers only.

If for any reason any of these promises are not fulfilled to your satisfaction during your visit to TimberRidge Community Church, please come and talk to me personally (or to one of our other pastors if you just didn't like me - wink, wink). We are always looking for ways to improve our Sunday gatherings; so we welcome your comments, criticisms and your suggestions.
